During our newscast, the announcement of the Tennessee Representatives being reinstated after being removed during a protest at the TN Capitol. The announcement came to us during our sports block. I floated out kicker, National Grilled Cheese Day, to make room for the breaking news at the top of our last block. During our last commercial break, I wrote all the information down and passed it to our anchors and repeated the information so they could confirm what they understood. Then during our last block, we were able to break the news of the two Tennessee Representatives were back!
